I fell in love with the pipe organ when I was looking for a summer job in college. I was drawn in by the simplicity of the mechanical action, and the idea that even a large instrument can produce a wide variety of sound and yet not require any electricity.
Over time, my curiosity led me to explore other aspects of pipe organ building, from woodworking to visual design to tonal design and finishing. I have found organbuilding to be a never-ending source of interest and adventure.
When I am not designing and building organs, I can often be found singing in choirs or ringing change-ringing bells.
