We are pleased to announce that C.B. Fisk has been selected to build a two-manual organ for the Cleveland Institute of Music. It will reside in the recently renovated, state-of-the-art Kulas Hall, a venue designed with cutting-edge acoustic technology to provide an unparalleled concert and educational experience. The new organ replaces an earlier instrument which no longer meets the requirements of the Organ Department. Delivery is scheduled for 2028.
Over the years we have gained extensive experience creating organs in conservatory and educational settings. Designing an organ for an active academic program presents duel challenges of giving authentic voice to music of the past while anticipating and encouraging future composition and performance.
