Tonal and visual design is underway for a new organ at Newport’s historic Trinity Episcopal Church. The current structure completed in 1726 was originally graced with an organ by the London organbuilder, Richard Bridge. Except for its oak case that instrument was replaced in several iterations between 1846 and 1972. The original casework will be preserved and incorporated into the new organ with the addition of a new Chaire division.
C.B. Fisk Opus 170 will have approximately 30-35 stops, three manuals and pedal, and an enclosed Swell division. Installation is projected to begin in the fall of 2026 in the midst of the Church’s tricentennial year.
We are proud to contribute to this extraordinary milestone in the long history of Trinity Church.
