The third instrument Charles Fisk based on the case design of Opus 57 at Willimantic, Connecticut, the organ, of nineteen stops and twenty-five ranks, is smaller than its nearby sister, “Winchester Old,” (Opus 50), but Opus 65 aka “Winchester New” benefits from its placement in a gallery at the rear of the church.

Opus 65 has an enlarged Brustwerk/Swell (called Choir) and a detached console, similar to Opus 62 in Ipswich, Massachusetts. It was dedicated in April 1974 and the “prepared-for” stops in the Great and Pedal were added in 1983.
