The crew has arrived at Costa Mesa from Gloucester and the dedication festivities at San Luis Obispo for Opus 129. We are Andrew, our project manager, Joshua, Jason, Rick, Juan Carlos, myself (Dana) and Nick who is on try-out with us. Our first 2 1/2 days have included unloading 2 1/2 trucks of organ parts with the help of 15 or so stage hands, setting up our shop and removing some of the lower case of the organ for better access.

What a difference to be here working in this beautiful, quiet hall. Quite unlike installation of the casework and facade pipes last year when construction was still going strong and we were just one of many crews. Now the real work can begin...
